1. Screencast: The Nuts and Bolts of a Global Wiki Writing Workshop
This 9-minute screencast walks you through the main pages of the wiki, explains the process used by teachers and students over the weeks of global collaborative writing.
2. Podcast: International Student Editors Skype Conference
Student editors from Seoul, Honolulu, and Denver, chosen after formal interviews, met several times on Skype to discuss and evaluate all 130 stories written in the first workshop, and nominate finalists for publication on this website, on the “blook,” and in the 1001 Flat World Tales first annual edition as both a paperback book and an e-book. 3. Podcast: Student and Teacher Weekend Skype Reflections
Students in Chris Watson’s Honolulu workshops and Clay Burell’s Seoul workshops held conference calls on Skype to collaborate on improving the project as it unfolded. Here’s a Seoul Sunday morning / Honolulu Saturday evening conference call in which the words “teacher” and “student” had little meaning. (Podcast coming soon)
